Bio
Charlotte Caron is a Portland, ME-based artist, and educator. A native of Needham, MA, Charlotte grew up engaging in the arts in various settings, from afterschool drawing classes to ballet lessons at a local studio. Encouraged by their grandmothers and their family, Charlotte continued passionately pursuing art through high school and college. Charlotte received their BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a focus in painting in 2019. Charlotte has worked in a variety of art education settings such as Beaver Summer Camp working as a visual art and woodshop specialist, annually managing the backstage production of the Charles River Ballet Academy Spring Recital, and at Mason-Rice Afterschool Program developing arts-based lessons in person and virtually from 2019-2020. This spring, Charlotte will receive their MAT from Maine College of Art and Design. When not making art, Charlotte explores the coast of Maine, finds new and unmarked trails to run, and tastes as much bubble tea as they can from local shops.
